 2025 Blaylock Club Championship

On August 9th and 10th, 24 golfers competed at the 102nd Blaylock Bowl. On Saturday, Sophia Park carded a 85 from the Red tees, giving her a 6 shot advantage over 2nd place Michelle Hanson (91). Close behind with 92 were Terry Van Horn and Jan Hollett. Those four were in the final group on Sunday golfing from the Combo tees. The Sunday competition between Sophia and Terry was tight and both scored 87; however, Sophia was named Club Champion with a two day total of 172 and has now won her 7th championship! Family members Judy Davidson (S.G. Blaylock's granddaughter) and Janis Bower (Elsie Buchanan's daughter) presented Sophia with the Blaylock Bowl:

Runner-up, Terry Van Horn had a two day total of 179 and club captain, Jeri Santarossa presented the plaque:

With a two-day net total of 137, Rose Katnich was awarded the 47th Elsie Buchanan Low Net Trophy by family Judy Davidson and Janis Bower:

This was the 50th anniversary of the Francis Lauriente Rose Bowl for least putts over two days. Michelle Hansen was presented the trophy with a two day total of 58 putts:
