Do you ever have a game that was pretty darn good except for one or two bad holes? With "Match Play" format you still have a good chance to win your match.
- The Crystal Cup Competition runs from May with finals played in September and is our ONLY match-play competition.
- All Ladies Club members with an established handicap are eligible to play. Sign up on the sheet on the bulletin board before the deadline. Blind draw done when closed.
- Everyone is guaranteed two games. Losers of the first round drop to the consolation section (Side B). From that point, a loss on Side A or B means elimination
- The player with the higher handicap is given strokes on the hardest holes from the player, with the lower handicap based on the difference between them.
- A match is won by the player leading by a number greater than the number of holes left to play. In the event of a tie after 18 holes, play should continue as sudden death until there is a winner. Specifics about the play and format are posted on the bulletin board. Questions can be addressed to Jeri Santarossa or Gail Rebelato.
- The Crystal Cup is awarded to the winner. Prizes are also awarded to the winner Side B and runners-up Side A and B.
