Birchbank Ladies Club: July 2025

2025 SWEEPSTAKES - 50TH ANNIVERSARY

On Tuesday, July 8th, Birchbank hosted 63 participants at the 50th Sweepstakes. The day was HOT with a slight breeze. A complimentary continental breakfast was provided in the Bistro prior to the 9:30 shotgun start. The Bistro served a fabulous Greek meal "family style" after golf. A number of door prizes and tournament prizes were awarded after dinner. With the generous support of our sponsors, we awarded over $4000 in prizes this year.

2025 Birchbank Hosts Castlegar - on Tuesday, June 17th, 48 ladies golfed in a 9:00 am modified shotgun. It was a beautiful sunny day and the ladies enjoyed the opportunity to golf with players from the other club. The Bistro provided a choice of 3 fabulous lunches to preorder. The “Beauty and the Beast” game had each team record the best and worst net score on each hole. Thanks to our sponsor’s generous contribution we were able to provide several door prizes and team prizes to 3rd place. So huge thanks to Western Industrial Contractors Ltd. and Arrow Professional Landscaping!
