2024 Birchbank Ladies' Club Closing Scramble

On Sunday, September 29th, 36 ladies club members played "Las Vegas Scramble with a Twist" to end the season. It was beautiful fall weather and we all enjoyed the day. The Bistro served a fabulous turkey dinner and we were joined by 7 guests. Below are pictures of the gathering:

We gave out "Casino" golf balls to the teams who had the most "twists" who hadn't won a game prize:

After recognizing accomplishments our golfers made thru the season, Jeri presented pin awards to the following who hadn't received them yet (note this full document has been posted on bulletin board):

Ringer Board Overall Winner - Sandy Wallace (60).  Sandy also won the Most Improved (Eclectic score) by bettering her first game by 50 strokes!

Monthly Competition: The overall net winner was Jan Hollett (66.4) and we hope to get a picture of her with her trophy when she is back. She also won the May (63) and September (65R) months. Other winners were Michelle Hansen - June (63) and Anita Cameron - August (65). Joan Ferguson won July (63) but she was unable to attend and we will try to get a picture of her another time.

Jan Hollett also won the Most Improved Handicap Factor (1.141) and we will get a picture of her with the plaque at a later date.

Thanks to all the ladies who supported the ladies club during the season. Our numbers were down this season for a number of reasons and the Executive and Volunteers will be meeting later this month to discuss, so if you have any ideas, suggestions, etc. please speak with one of them or send an email to bbladiesclub@gmail.com.
