2025 Ollie's Best Ball Tournament

Weather was fantastic on Saturday, May 24th for the 30 competitors participating in this year's Ollie's. Huge thanks to John Noakes for providing beautiful plants for every lady as well as sponsorship of the event. We also want to recognize the Bistro for the fantastic Mexican Fiesta buffet dinner and the Pro Shop for their assistance. 

Competition was very close ... we had 3 teams with a net 63! Winners, by retrogression were Darlene Jones and  Pam Clermont:

2025 Opening - Scratch "Fore" Fun Scramble

On Sunday, April 27th, 40 ladies' club members participated in the season Opening event. The weather was fantastic and 10 teams of 4 competed for the best "scramble" score playing the Las Vegas game. Every player hit their drive then rolled a die to determine which shot would be used to hit second shots and so forth. Some teams found "interesting" places to hit from, unless they rolled a 5 or 6 allowing them to pick the best of the bunch. Everyone had a lot of fun and it was a wonderful opportunity for many new members to socialize and meet other members. After golf, the ladies enjoyed a fabulous Italian meal provided by the Bistro.

With the generous sponsorship of Western Industrial Contractors Ltd. (Josh Berlinger) and Arrow Professional Landscaping (Colin Truscott) we were able to reduce the dinner price and every participant got a scratch ticket as a fun prize. Their sponsorship for the season will provide extras at several events, including Sweepstakes.

Thanks to Carmela Livolsi and Karen Hubert for looking after the social draw (as usual!). Maureen Elliott was the lucky winner of $110.

 2025 COFFEE PARTY 

On Tuesday, April 8th, over 30 ladies participated in the coffee party and had a chance to visit while enjoying some goodies and coffee. Jeff welcomed the ladies back and provided information on some upcoming events and answered a few questions. Jeri reviewed items from the Executive meeting held a few days earlier. Key points were emailed to our ladies club members. We have a number of events planned for the season and hope to have a great turnout at all of them.  Our Opening takes place Sunday, April 27th - watch for pictures and results to be posted here in early May!
