2025 COFFEE PARTY 

On Tuesday, April 8th, over 30 ladies participated in the coffee party and had a chance to visit while enjoying some goodies and coffee. Jeff welcomed the ladies back and provided information on some upcoming events and answered a few questions. Jeri reviewed items from the Executive meeting held a few days earlier. Key points were emailed to our ladies club members. We have a number of events planned for the season and hope to have a great turnout at all of them.  Our Opening takes place Sunday, April 27th - watch for pictures and results to be posted here in early May!

Birchbank Ladies Club Xmas Party

On Wednesday, November 27th, the ladies club enjoyed a Xmas get together at Glenmerry Bowl. We had 24 ladies turn out to bowl and there was a lot of cheering when the occasional strike or spare resulted in amongst the many gutter balls haha. Thanks to Dana for making up the 4 teams of 6 players by drawing names. And for looking after the finances!

An additional 8 gals joined us for lunch and visiting after the bowlers had completed their two games. The Bowling Alley provided the yummy food - we had nachos and a variety of pizza. It was the perfect location to get together. I highly recommend Glenmerry Bowl as a place to join with family or friends for a fun activity and with their full bar and great menu choices you can have a wonderful time.

During lunch we did our fun gift exchange... there were some wonderful items in the wrapped packages and a couple gifts were "stolen" several times right up til the last number was drawn. 

The "Ugly Xmas Sweater" was won by Louise Dewdney, 2nd Place was Colleen DeRosa and 3rd Place was Gerianne Hanik. Winners were chosen by who got the loudest applause!

 2024 Birchbank Ladies' Club Closing Scramble

On Sunday, September 29th, 36 ladies club members played "Las Vegas Scramble with a Twist" to end the season. It was beautiful fall weather and we all enjoyed the day. The Bistro served a fabulous turkey dinner and we were joined by 7 guests. Below are pictures of the gathering:

Monthly Competition: The overall net winner was Jan Hollett (66.4) and we hope to get a picture of her with her trophy when she is back. She also won the May (63) and September (65R) months. Other winners were Michelle Hansen - June (63) and Anita Cameron - August (65). Joan Ferguson won July (63) but she was unable to attend and we will try to get a picture of her another time.

Jan Hollett also won the Most Improved Handicap Factor (1.141) and we will get a picture of her with the plaque at a later date.
